Vladimir Novozhilov was born 21 June 1957. He graduated from the Rerikh (Serov) St. Petersburg Art College, then completed a three-year term at the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts.

The artist has participated in exhibitions since 1982. His works have travelled to private collections in Germany, France, Japan, Switzerland, Italy, and several other countries.

Novozhilov's art weaves together mythological references from different civilizations. His colorful paintings are filled with emotional and contemporary interpretations of the myths.
